True vintage scatterwound pickups!<br>Planet Tone 1959 Special humbuckers are a hot vintage pickup with more mids than a standard PAF for a touch more power, and bigger low end growl.<br>Think: Billy Gibbons<br>The 1959 Specials have an amazing warmth with a nice overwind to lend towards a meaty blues and rock tone. Made with Alnico II magnets, the sustain is amazing and allows for a nice low end growl with that vintage warmth. There is a nice dynamic balance, the highs are lush and sparkling for amazing clean tones while the low end is relatively tight and punchy for chord clarity and definition.<br>The bridge pickup has been pushed up to 9.5k which is gives it a nice blues-rock feel. Great for lead work, rhythm and so much more.
